When TacoCoin betting closes
Every fantasy matchup in an NFL week locks at the same deadline: one hour before that week's first NFL kickoff.
How it works
- 1The ESPN games sync reads the first scheduled NFL kickoff for each week.
- 2TacoBot subtracts one hour and displays that deadline on every open matchup in the week.
- 3At the deadline, the backend rejects new wagers even if a browser still shows stale Open data.
- 4A final result settles eligible wagers; if ESPN changes the matchup itself, existing wagers are voided and restored.
Keep in mind
The server deadline is authoritative. Refresh the league hub page if it was left open across the lock time.
