Protect invitations and sync codes
Invitation and synchronization codes provide temporary authority and should be handled like short-lived secrets.
How it works
- 1Send invitation links only to their intended recipient.
- 2Generate ESPN sync codes immediately before use.
- 3Do not post codes in public chats, screenshots, streams, or support messages.
- 4If a code is exposed, let it expire or consume a different newly generated code for your sync.
- 5Stop a live draft session when the draft is complete.
Keep in mind
Standard ESPN codes work once and expire after 10 minutes; live draft codes have a longer session window.
