How to sync Sleeper

TacoBot connects to Sleeper directly, so it can import league rules, teams, rosters, head-to-head games, weekly scores, and draft information without a browser extension.

How it works

  1. 1Open League Hub Settings and choose Sleeper when adding the fantasy league.
  2. 2Enter the Sleeper league ID and the matching NFL season, then save the league.
  3. 3Select Sync Sleeper once to verify the connection immediately.
  4. 4TacoBot then refreshes the active Sleeper league automatically and retries temporary failures with backoff.
  5. 5Confirm the Last synced time and select your fantasy team in the Control Center before using personal roster history or live draft sync.
Keep in mind

Sleeper league data is public through Sleeper's read-only API. TacoBot never asks for your Sleeper password. Repeating or scheduled sync safely updates existing records instead of duplicating games, weekly imports, or draft picks.

What gets synchronized

A full sync updates league scoring and roster rules, team names and draft slots, current rosters, the head-to-head schedule, available weekly player and team results, and the league's draft ID. Final weeks update contest summaries and settle eligible TacoCoin games.

Live drafts

One member starts Live Draft Sync from the Draft page after the league has been synchronized. That page checks Sleeper directly for new picks about every four seconds; other members automatically follow TacoBot's shared results without creating more Sleeper pollers. Each member's selected team, tags, and draft preferences remain personal.

If a sync fails

Verify the league ID and season first. The league must be visible through Sleeper's API. TacoBot shows the most recent sync error in League Hub Settings, keeps the prior successful data intact, and schedules a retry with increasing delay.
