How to sync ESPN
Pair your account once with separate League Data and Live Draft connections. Reuse each across all ESPN leagues you can sync.
How it works
- 1Open TacoBot's Extension page and install the current ESPN Sync extension before connecting your browser.
- 2In Profile, under ESPN account connections, choose Connect League Data and copy the pairing token. The same controls are available in an ESPN league hub.
- 3In the extension, paste the token and choose Connect browser. It connects your account, including leagues you join later.
- 4Open a signed-in ESPN league page. The extension matches its league ID; confirm the TacoBot league and season before reading. If that ESPN league is linked to multiple hubs, choose the destination.
- 5Choose Preview League Data, review the preview and warnings, then Sync League Data. Individual datasets and historical imports are under Other data & historical seasons. Keep the popup open until uploads finish and check Last successful sync.
- 6Re-sync after Thursday waivers or major roster changes so TacoBot updates the current model without changing locked wagers.
- 7Use the separate Live Draft connection for live draft picks.
Keep in mind
A pairing token works once and expires after 10 minutes; the saved connection has no scheduled expiry. To switch computers, copy the token again in Profile. The current browser keeps working until the other computer uses it, then the connection moves there. League Data and Live Draft move separately, and each sync checks your current league permissions.
