What are usage metrics?

Usage Score is a role indicator built from the active season's validated usage dataset. Higher scores indicate a larger documented share of team opportunity.

How it works

  1. 1For rushers, TacoBot uses rushing percentage.
  2. 2For pass catchers, it uses passing or receiving opportunity percentage.
  3. 3When both are present, the percentages are combined so hybrid usage is not discarded.
  4. 4The player list sorts higher Usage Scores first when that source is selected.
Keep in mind

Usage is not a fantasy-point projection and does not account for every injury, depth-chart change, matchup, or efficiency difference.

Why is a number missing?

A player may not be present in the active season's usage dataset or may lack a usable rushing and passing percentage.

How should I use it?

Treat Usage Score as one signal for opportunity. Compare it with ranking, roster construction, news, and your own player evaluation.
