How TacoCoin odds are calculated
Odds are parimutuel: members create the price through their wagers, and the entire pool is distributed to winning wagers.
How it works
- 1TacoBot totals all TacoCoins wagered on the matchup.
- 2For each team, decimal odds equal the total game pool divided by that team's pool.
- 3If 30 coins are wagered overall and 10 are on Team A, Team A displays 3.00x.
- 4Odds move whenever another member adds a wager and remain estimates until betting closes.
Keep in mind
There is no house cut. Integer rounding is distributed across winners so the entire pool is accounted for.
Why might one team have no odds?
A team cannot display pool-based odds until at least one TacoCoin has been wagered on that side.
