Start a contest from a template
TacoBot templates know their own scoring and entry rules, so setup only asks for decisions the commissioner actually needs to make.
How it works
- 1Open a league hub and select Create Contest.
- 2Choose TacoCoin Game for a Prop, player Board Bet, or league-wide Field. Other templates cover Survivor, Final Standings, Landmine, weekly scoring, Brackets, Superlatives, and League Agreement.
- 3Set only the relevant details, such as subjects, market length, a week range, Landmine icons, bracket scoring, superlative questions, or an optional fixed TacoCoin prize.
- 4Create the contest. TacoBot uses the current league automatically and shows the appropriate scoring, market, or entry experience.
Weekly High Score and Weekly Low Score can optionally create TacoCoin Field markets. Weekly High Bench Score and Landmine remain normal contests because managers can influence lineup outcomes after seeing a market.
What does the TacoCoin Game template support?
Props compare a synchronized result with a threshold, Board Bets compare the fantasy output of two NFL players, and Fields put all league teams into one weekly or season-long market. TacoBot calculates opening odds automatically.
Why can’t I change the scoring format?
Premade contests are opinionated. TacoBot already knows whether to use starting-lineup scores, bench scores, standings, final player scores, voting, or a playoff bracket.
How does Final Standings entry work?
Participants drag team names into their predicted order. Keyboard users can focus a grip and press Alt+Up or Alt+Down. TacoBot keeps the full ordering as one entry.
Can Landmine use our league’s terminology?
Yes. Change its contest name and choose separate icons for zero-point and negative-point starters. The generic Landmine name and bomb icon are not stored as fixed scoring rules.
